Pilates involves the entire body and is a holistic exercise method. It connects the mind and body while strengthening the core with elongation and mobilization of the body. I am a certified Stott Merrithew Pilates instructor in Mat and Reformer and find that this form of exercise pairs synergistically with my nutritional programs/protocols to create stability and flexibility with exercise.

Pilates has been shown to reduce inflammation while providing clients with a gentler form of exercise emphasising on core strength, aligning your body, and helping stabilise joints.  Also, it is a gentler form of exercise for improving posture and strengthening the connection between body and mind through breath and better body awareness.
